Seatpost sizing guide

Choose the diameter required by your frame, not your height or wheel size. The seatpost diameter must match the frame’s specified seatpost size.

1. Check your existing seatpost: Look for a diameter marking such as 27.2, 30.9 or 31.6 mm, usually printed or engraved near the lower section.
2. Confirm with your frame specifications: Check the bicycle or frame manufacturer’s seatpost diameter specification. Seat-clamp size is not the same as seatpost diameter.
3. If the marking is missing: Have a bike shop measure the existing correctly fitting post with calipers. Do not estimate with a ruler.
4. Select the matching diameter: A frame specified for 27.2 mm needs a 27.2 mm post; a 30.9 mm frame needs 30.9 mm; a 31.6 mm frame needs 31.6 mm. These sizes are not directly interchangeable.

Check length and saddle fit too: Confirm the post is long enough for your saddle height while meeting both the frame and seatpost minimum-insertion requirements. Check saddle-rail compatibility before ordering. Zero offset describes saddle setback, not diameter or post length.
